My Art Vision
The website Anamel Iraqiya was launched in 2009, in coincidence with the opening of my art exhibition (Civilisation Birthplace through Petroglyph). Earlier, I took part in many Iraqi and international art exhibitions, but Civilisation Birthplace through Petroglyph was my first private art event.
The exhibition was designed as a form of rejection to all the acts of looting and destroying the artefacts at the Iraqi national museum. It is also meant to acquaint the people world-wide with the uniqueness of the traditional arts in Mesopotamia. People have been made aware of the Mesopotamian art excellence through a new renovated type of art.

I was a pioneer in introducing the rellef in canvas painting as an objective to closely imitate the Mesopotamian artefacts of jewellery, wall portraits, sculptures, pottery painting and stamps, given that these artefacts were all creatively made by the great artists from the world’s first civilisation.

هذا تصميم أولي لجزء من لوحتي الخاصة للإعلان عن كتابي القادم بإذن الله - من مطبخنا العراقي وأكثر- (عِبق الذكريات ولذّة النكهات) فكرة تراودني من سنين بعد هجرة أكثر العوائل العراقية من الوطن الحبيب لظروف وأسباب مختلفة، فكرة ترسخت خصوصاً بعد دخول اكلات جديدة إلى مطبخنا وبداية إنحسار معظم أكلاتنا ومسمياتها وخصوصا بين أبناء الجيل الجديد، أكملت العمل على توثيق الأكلات والذكريات قبل أكثر من سنتين والآن ومنذ بداية الحظر الصحي وأنا أعمل على إكمال اللمسات الأخيرة إن شاء الله
